This lecture (Tuesday, 27th September 2011, 17h00 – 18h15) emphasises contemporary trends in European spatial development and also related models and representations. The lecture opens the winter term of the 'Master Académique in Spatial Development and Analysis' at UL and will be followed by a reception welcoming the new students.
Klaus R. Kunzmann was Professor at the School of Planning at the Technical University of Dortmund, Germany (1974 – 2006), head of the department of "Spatial Planning in Europe" from 1993 to 2006.
Klaus Kunzmann holds the degree of ‘Honorary Professor’ from the University College London, Bartlett School of Planning, London, UK; the University of Cardiff, Wales, Department of City Planning and Regional Development; and from Chung Hua University, Hsinchu, Taiwan. He was formerly Jean Monnet Professor of Spatial Planning in Europe, School of Planning, University of Dortmund.
