Academia meets Business 2012: Perspectives on the Eurozone
31-10-2012 / 31-10-2012

L'Université de Luxembourg et UBS Luxembourg organisent le 31 octobre 2012 une conférence qui portera sur les perspectives de la zone euro.

Background

UBS Luxembourg and the University of Luxembourg, Faculty of Law, Economics and Finance launched a partnership earlier in 2012. This unique partnership bridging academia and the financial industry, aims to further develop Luxembourg as a global centre of excellence for banking and finance as well as promote close multi-disciplinary collaboration between UBS and the University of Luxembourg. Partnership activities include the organisation of academic conferences, internship opportunities for students, sponsorship of student research visits to universities abroad and support of local student organisations. UBS experts and specialists in their respective disciplines have the opportunity to host lectures or give a series of seminars, which are integrated into the Faculty’s study programmes. These activities aim to strengthen students' academic and professional experiences. In addition, a UBS Award has been established in recognition of an outstanding PhD Thesis. The first UBS PhD Award will be handed out during this event.
